Since its founding, the EVZ Foundation has supported civil society initiatives in Eastern Europe. Due to the changing security situation and to protect our partner organizations and project participants, some of these activities are not currently being made publicly available.
This decision is based on careful consideration that takes into account the varying situations in each country: Depending on the context, the challenges range from increasingly restrictive political conditions for civil society engagement to security risks resulting from armed conflicts.
We remain a reliable partner for civil society in Eastern European countries, develop safe and tailored funding formats, and continue to strengthen civil society structures in a targeted manner.
