The second “International Academy on Remembrance and Human Rights” took place in Berlin from March 14-19, 2010.
The International Academy was a unique learning opportunity for people working in the fields of human rights education, historical education and remembrance. The 22 participants came from Israel, Russia, Czech Republic, Poland, Lithuania, Estonia, Ukraine and Germany. The working areas of these educators and project managers covered human rights education and historical education as well as education at memorial sites.
Thanks to engaging discussions, constructive suggestions and the lively composition of the group, the second “International Academy on Remembrance and Human Rights” was carried out successfully.
