The diplomat and bridge builder passed away in January 2022. Johannes Bauch was a member of the board of the Foundation Remembrance, Responsibility and Future from December 2002 to September 2003. Our deepest sympathy goes to the family of Johannes Bauch.

The project #LastSeen focuses on the images of the deportations from the German Reich between 1938 and 1945. The photographs show the final moment of exclusion from society - in public. They are particularly suitable for conveying and understanding the mechanisms of action of National Socialism.
