  1. Three Questions for... Dr. Veronika Heilmannseder, project leader of Butter, Vieh, Vernichtung

    The project has already held numerous workshops and events that appeal to different age groups and provide historical and personal insights into Nazi past in the Allgäu region. We asked Dr. Veronika Heilmannseder, among other things, to what extent creative approaches have helped to raise young people in particular to local Nazi history.

And how do members of the Sinti and Roma community contribute to the project?

  5. Three questions for... the young ensemble performing "Zeit für Zeug:innen" at Junges Schauspiel Frankfurt

  7. Three questions for... Volodymyr Yakovenko

    Volodymyr Yakovenko was a recipient of the Vidnova Fellowship we were funding. The project was realized by Commit by MitOst. He is currently working with "Youth Agency for the Advocacy of Roma Culture ARCA" on the creation and distribution of information platform "Djanes" and the new podcast section.

  8. Three questions for... Vira Dranhoi

    Vira Dranhoi was a recipient of the Vidnova Fellowship we were funding. The project was realized by Commit by MitOst. As the president of the "Human Rights Roma Center" she leads efforts to support and empower Roma communities. She is from Odesa (Ukraine) and is currently studying at the Central European University in Vienna (Austria).

    In this interview, the team of the project “Forced Labor and Resistance” talks about the project work at Kampnagel over the past two years: Together they are contributing to a Nazi reappraisal of today's cultural venue, which was a place of forced labor during the Nazi era.
