The Roma minority in Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova , as elsewhere in Europe, often lives in precarious conditions and is often discriminated against and marginalized. As a result of the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine, their situation has further deteriorated, with elderly Roma who survived the National Socialist genocide during the Second World War being particularly hard hit. The Foundation Remembrance, Responsibility and Future (EVZ) will continue its long-standing commitment to supporting these people in 2026. In order to honor the memory of those Nazi genocide victims who have already died, the Foundation also funds projects in support of their descendants. For this reason, self-organizationscommitted to the equal participation of the descendants of survivors are also invited to submit project proposals.

Ромська меншина в Україні та Республіці Молдова, як і в інших регіонах Європи, часто живе в скрутних умовах, нерідко піддається дискримінації та маргіналізації. В результаті загарбницької війни Росії проти України її становище далі погіршилося. Особливо страждають роми похилого віку, які пережили геноцид у Другій світовій війні. У 2026 році Фонд «Пам‘ять, відповідальність та майбутнє» (EVZ) продовжує свою багаторічну діяльність на користь цих людей. Вшановуючи пам‘ять та честь
померлих жертв націонал-соціалістського геноциду, Фонд підтримує також проєкти в інтересах їхніх нащадків. Тому ми запрошуємо ромські організації, які виступають за
рівноправну партисипацію нащадків тих, хто постраждав від геноциду, подати заявку на участь у конкурсі.
