We are currently facing major challenges:

Anti-Semitism is on the rise across Germany and Europe, the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine continues and the scope for civil society actors to take action is shrinking. A lively and critical culture of remembrance is therefore more important today than ever.

Our mission – for over 20 years:

The EVZ Foundation is dedicated to preserving the memory of National Socialist injustices, particularly the history and aftermath of Nazi forced labour. We support projects that combine historical responsibility with social commitment.

Your commitment counts!

Young people shape the culture of remembrance of tomorrow. That is why we support you in becoming individuals who are historically aware, sensitive to diversity and committed to democracy. For over two decades, the EVZ Foundation has been bringing young people from different countries together – for shared remembrance and active participation. What once began as a classic youth exchange is now much more: numerous international projects with a focus on history, democracy and social cohesion – always open to new forms, perspectives and approaches to remembrance.
