1. What is support provided for?
The Foundation “Remembrance, Responsibility and Future” supports projects within the framework of funding programmes approved by its Board of Trustees. Financial support cannot be provided to projects outside the scope of the funding programmes. The Foundation supports projects that have a defined duration and purpose. Projects that are already running are not eligible for support.


2. What funding programmes are currently in operation?

3. Who can submit applications?
Applicants and grant recipients must be legal entities.


4. How can I submit an application?
The applications procedure varies depending on the funding programme. Details of the applications procedures are included in the calls for applications within the respective funding programmes.


5. Can applications be submitted by email?
Applications must be sent as original documents by post. They must be signed by authorised officers of the respective institutions. Details of the applications procedures are included in the calls for applications within the respective funding programmes.


6. Is it possible to receive start-up financing?
Start-up financing is possible, but only on the condition that the overall project funding is secured.


7. What contribution is expected from applicants?
Project applicants do not necessarily have to contribute out of their own resources. This depends on the conditions in the respective call for applications.


8. Will the Foundation assume printing costs?
Generally, allowances for printing costs are only granted to projects that have previously received funding from the Foundation.


9. Will the Foundation assume the costs of construction measures?
Due to the limited funding available, the Foundation’s Board of Trustees has decided that funding cannot be provided for construction measures. This also applies to renovation work.


10. Does the Foundation support commercial projects?

No, funding cannot be provided for commercial projects.


11. Can the Foundation support projects through donations?
The Foundation is not allowed to make donations; support is provided in the form of grants. Grant recipients must provide evidence that the funding has been used for the designated purpose.


12. Can project administration costs be reimbursed?
The reimbursement of administrative costs is possible.


13. What currency is used in the cost plan?
Cost plans must be drawn up in euros.
