EXHIBITION OPENING

“WHERE SHOULD WE HAVE GONE AFTER THE LIBERATION?”

The Museum Schloss Fechenbach in Dieburg is showing the traveling exhibition “Where Should We Have Gone After The Liberation? Transit stops: Displaced Persons after 1945.” It draws attention to the fates of survivors of Nazi persecution, the Holocaust and forced labour, who were referred to as “Displaced Persons” (DPs) by the Allies. The exhibit consists of some 10 topical stations, which are dedicated to individual biographies and personal histories, intertwined with the strategies used by the Allies at the time. Created by the International Tracing Service, the exhibition was supported financially by the Foundation EVZ.

The opening in Dieburg will take place on 20 August at 15:00.
