Objective
Funding programme for human rights education through history learning
Human rights education aims to foster a culture of human rights enabling respect for as well as protection and assertion of human rights. The Foundation "Remembrance, Responsibility and Future" is launching the first call for applications to the funding programme "Teaching Human Rights". In this programme, the Foundation will support experienced educational facilities working in the area of human rights or history education, enabling them to develop innovative educational projects that focus on human rights education through history learning and to upgrade existing educational services on this theme.

In the selection of projects, the board of directors will be assisted by a jury of experts.

Criteria:
- Need for and necessity of the project
- Relevance of the human rights problematic in the present day
- Relevance of the historical connections
- Convincing connection between human rights education and historical learning
- Contribution to fighting anti-Semitism
- Concrete project activities, methodological and didactic approaches and learning processes
- Sustainability, and result and product-orientation
- Innovation, originality and adventurousness
- Cost-effectiveness of the financing plan
- Experience of the applicant in human rights education and historical learning
